The Iraqi Kurdish Independence Referendum, despite widespread opposition to the Barzani party's insistence, was held on, on December 25, 2017. And news related to the Kurdish referendum on the Iraqi Kurdistan for a long time has become the top news of a regional, transnational, and international media. In this research, we are going to review the news in the four news sites of Al Jazeera, IRNA, REDAWO and BBC, by reviewing the referendum in the days following its launch. The results of the research indicate that each of the news sites has their own specific idea of referendum. IRNA has paid attention to the referendum by mentioning the reflective news and it is mainly against the referendum. Al-Jazeera has implicitly supported the referendum with its analytical reports, but warns about its dangers, The BBC has shown its support for the Kurdish nation by applying its bilateral policy and has expressed criticism in it`s reflective news. Rodaw as Kurdish-language site supported the referendum and created a positive semantic framework of it.

The present research aims to studythe impacts of watching satellite TV Shows on the local dressing style of the Kurdish women of the city of Paveh through a case study of the TV show Harim-e Soltan. We tried to find the reasons and motives behind such changes. Taking a qualitative approach, we conducted ethnography using semi-structured interviews. The statistical population includes the Kurdish woman between 15 to 50 in the Hijri years of 1393 and 1394 who lived in the city of Paveh and used a dressing style similar to that of the TV show. We used targeted sampling and enough number of interviews to fulfill the needs of the research questions. The results show that the localstook ideas from the TV show and combined them with their own dressing styles. We can’t consider watching the TV show as the only effective factor. This factor played a role along with other factors.
