Introduction
Television and satellite channels, in addition to other forms of social media, have facilitated the rapid and widespread transmission of foreign lifestyles, social relationships, culture, art, beliefs, and values to Iranian society. As a result, satellite networks with their diverse capabilities have become capable of affecting all aspects of human life, particularly altering the daily lives and lifestyle choices of people from all sectors of society, particularly the youth. Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of Persian-language satellite networks in shaping the lifestyles of young people and from the perspective of Bourdieu's indicators by means of the data envelopment analysis model.
Materials and Methods
The research method employed is case-driven and context-specific. In order to implement the model, a library study was initially conducted to evaluate the impact of TV and satellite networks on youth lifestyles according to Bourdieu's perspective. Based on the opinions of experts in the field, the input and output indices of the study were determined. To account for the non-deterministic nature of many indices, the Rough DEA model was used, which converts non-deterministic variables to intervals using the "α" level and results in an interval data envelopment analysis model. Using the MRA ranking method, the efficient intervals were ranked and compared. Then the efficiency of each evaluated network was determined through a sensitivity analysis performed at different "α" levels. Finally, each of the networks was ranked.
Discussion and Results
Based on the data collected and analyzed, the "Man o To" network was found to have the greatest influence on the lifestyles of young people. The "Persian BBC" network ranked second, followed by the "Nasim network" in third place, and finally, the "GEM" network placed last. These results suggest that there are significant differences in the impact of satellite networks on the lifestyles of young people, and that the "Man o To" network has been the most effective at shaping the lifestyle choices of this demographic.
Conclusions
Based on the research findings, it is recommended that the administrators of domestic Persian-language satellite media produce high-quality and appealing content in the fields of information, news, entertainment, and educational programming. This strategy will help boost the lifestyle indicators among the youth. Additionally, it is suggested that individuals with greater social capital and trust consume media resources from these aforementioned fields.

The desirable and harmful effects of cyberspace on different aspects of life especially education and schooling have always been a subject of debate. Thus, the main purpose of the study was to investigate the effect of lifestyle influenced by cyberspace on academic engagement of students. The statistical population consisted of high school students (junior and senior) of the city of Dehloran (Ilam Province, Iran) in the academic year 2018-19., 360 of whom were selected as the sample through cluster random sampling. The necessary data were collected by two standard questionnaires, i.e., Reev’s (2013) student engagement questionnaire and Taheri’s (2014) questionnaire. Cronbach’s alpha was used to measure the reliability of both questionnaires (α = 0.88). The correlation coefficients showed that there is a significant negative relationship between lifestyle influenced by cyberspace and academic engagement (r=-0.39, p≤0.001). Analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS also indicated that the lifestyle influenced by cyberspace variable and its six dimensions (knowledge acquisition, communication, identity, services, enjoyment seeking, and outcome) were able to predict 51% (R2=0.51) of the variance in the academic engagement variable (β= -0.53 and p≤0.00). The results showed that lifestyle influenced by cyberspace had a negative effect on academic performance of students. Therefore, it was concluded that such lifestyle needs to be modified with a view to attain maximum benefits and minimum costs.

For many years, western countries have been attempting to offer western lifestyle as the correct model of life to people from all over the world, including Iran. Of the 32 satellite entertainment channels specifically aimed at promoting a particular lifestyle, Manoto TV and Gem TV, as the most important, popular, and influential channels with an entertainment and recreation function in promoting western lifestyle in societies, were analyzed using quantitative content analysis and the chi-squared test. According to the results, Manoto TV produced programs dealing with individual, family, cultural, social, and religious domains more than Gem TV, with the frequency of 300, 1103, 256, and 38, respectively. Among these domains, the majority of productions were related to the cultural domain, whereas religious programs ranked the last. "Shopping and consumption patterns" and "leisure" ranked first in the cultural lifestyle domain, with "clothing and makeup" showing the highest frequency. In the cultural domain, diversity, entertainment, and recreation were more important than other lifestyle components in program production. Presentation of western models in the purchasing and consumption management of individuals and society, with an emphasis on determining the type and extent of clothing and makeup, has encouraged the female audience to be nude or semi-nude, demonstrating the western media's efforts to promote nude and semi-nude clothing in the Iranian society as the correct lifestyle.
