Abstract

Considering the importance and growing role of social networks in everyday life and politics, this study examines the factors affecting active member of Youth in the political pages on social networks ( case study: on the page "Facebook" Iranian Foreign Minister between years 2014 -2015). This study used survey was conducted using electronic questionnaires. Population of the research included all 18 to 29-year-old members of Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs in page on Facebook between 2014 -2015. The sample size was 156 according to Cochran sampling formula and sampling was the available sample of young people has been a member of the Page Minister.
The results show that men, singles and people with higher education and higher socioeconomic status were more active on Facebook Foreign Minister. Characteristics of politician and political motives were important factors in young active member of the Facebook page Iranian Foreign Minister.
