The Research Evaluates new media impacts on Iranian mainstream media. It seems that new media in Iran these days deeply effect on mainstream media and even in some cases makes them to lose their functions. This research tries to evaluate new media impacts on Iranian mainstream media’s internal mechanisms and also relations between them with the people and with politic and economic powers. New media impacts on mainstream media and their relations with people were evaluated by qualitative survey methodology. Eventually researcher concluded that new media by themselves did not reduce the mainstream media consumption but the tough controls and lack of professionalism in mainstream media were the critical cause of consumption, trustfulness and influence decline so new media rise only has amplified these consequences. In fact, this study found that people have immigrated to new media because of weak mainstream media but they could not entirely alternate with mainstream media.

Along with different and deep problems that the contemporary family has challenged in Iran, Internet penetration and use of modern communication technologies in the family have made these problems and challenges more complex and obscure. The challenges which are to some extent rooted in the transformation of family relations in Iran. This research was conducted to study the relationship between the use of modern communication technologies and family relations. The study population was Shiraz high school students from all 10 city regions. Using classified random sampling method, 400 students were selected and responded to the questionnaire. The theoretical framework of this study is a combination of the "networked family" and the "family boundaries" theories. One of the innovations in this research is the use of two mediating variables called family time and family network, which has been inspired by the theoretical framework. Generally, the results of this research indicate that there is no direct relationship between the type and extent of the use of new technologies of communication with family relations, but this relationship is realized through the path of mediating variables, namely, the time of family and family network. Finally, Family time and family network variables have a positive effect on family relationships, with a beta of 0.473 and 0.273, and in general they are able to explain 30% of the family relationship variable.

Twitter is a social media that provides widespread engagement and interaction possibilities. In the last decade, the media has attracted the attention of politicians, especially diplomats, and has become a platform for the reflection of their priorities, values, and ideas. The use of this infrastructure has created a new type of diplomacy called "Twiplomacy", and more than 92 percent of the member states of the United Nations have a user account and represent their identity and their country on Twitter. In Iran, politicians and diplomats have not been able to keep up with this trend to have an active presence. By using the Ontological Security Theory, this essay seeks to explore how Iranian officials, especially diplomats, can represent the identity and norms of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Twitter. The main question is how Iranian politicians narrate themselves on Twitter. In order to investigate this question, in addition to Twitter of Iran's Foreign Minister, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu's tweets were also considered as the main rivals of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ontological narration on foreign policy. Accordingly, the following criteria were summarized as Iran's foreign policy narratives: First, Iran as a security maker of the region; second, Iran as an economically developing state; third, Iran as a compliant with international obligations; and last, an independent Iran.

Present research is devoted to analys the roll of internet use in occurance of negative habits among internet users. Taking advantage of some cultural theoris of Iranian and non-Iranian theorists, several hypotheses were made and then, theoretical relations stablished among the variables. The statistical population of the research included all of internet users who visit coffee-nets in Kashan in May 2017, out of which 319 youngsters were selected as the research sample. It should be mentioned that research sample primarily was determined by Cochran calculation formula, and then, respondents were selected through accidential and proportional classified sampling method. Findings showed that the rate of users,s negative habits in Kashan is relatively on the edge of the middle level- not so high and not so low. Independent variables such as the rate of use, the kind of use, and the invironement showed significant relation with the rate of negative habits occurances among users. In this regard, usage rate showed a reverse relation with the rate of negative habits, i.e. the more using internet somehow leads to decrease of some negative habits rate such as non-responsibility, law violation, and lasyness.
